Essex OPP has released the identity of the suspect apprehended after an alleged robbery at a Harrow pharmacy.

Police have charged Joseph Miscovsky, 35, of Essex with robbery and disguise with intent.

According to police, Miscovsky entered the Hometown Pharmacy around 12:15 p.m. Thursday and demanded narcotics. The owner of the shop subdued Miscovsky until police could arrive. Nothing was stolen.

A second suspect was believed to have been involved, but OPP says this is no longer the case and that Miscovsky acted alone

According to the Greater Essex County District School Board, OPP requested Harrow District High School and Harrow Public School be put on a hold and secure. They have since been released.

No injuries have been reported.
