Media report claims Windsor pilot listed Taylor Swift as next of kin
Officials work at the scene of a plane crash in Nashville, Tenn. that killed a Windsor pilot.
The story of the Windsor pilot killed in a plane crash at Nashville International Airport is becoming more mysterious.
A Nashville paper is reporting Michael Callan turned off the single engine plane's transponder and circled the airport for more than two hours before the crash.
"The Tennessean" is also reporting Callan listed country music singer Taylor Swift as next of kin. When police approached Swift about the claim, she said she never met the 45-year-old man.
The wreckage of Callan's plane was discovered Oct. 29 after he departed from Windsor for Pelee Island.
