Justice settling into forever home
After spending a few weeks as a foster in his new home, the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society says that Justice has found his family.
The shelter says given his breed and the ordeal he suffered, he had some special requirements for his new home.
His new family was touched by Justice’s story, but also knows that he’s still “a regular dog” who needs to be able to get on with his life.
"It's nice having a dog lay with you at night and steal your blankets," says Justice's new owner.
The humane society is not releasing their names. They look forward to many years of updates seeing him happy, healthy, and loved.
Last year, Justice was found with his paws and snout bound by electrical tape.
"It baffles me how someone can be that cruel or thoughtless to another life form," says Justice's owner about his abuser.
