A Chatham-Kent officer facing several charges has two dates set to speak to those charges.

Constable Ken Miller is facing sexual assault charges related to an incident on August 23, 2015.

An SIU investigation found that a woman encountered a police officer, was driven in a marked cruiser to a parking lot, and was allegedly sexually assaulted.

Miller is due in court on August 17th related to the criminal charges.

He is also facing a charge of discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act Code of Conduct. A conference call hearing has been rescheduled until November 30th to await more information from the investigation.

Meanwhile a second Chatham-Kent office is facing 50 counts of discreditable conduct, one count of deceit, and one count of corrupt practice. He is also facing several criminal charges and will appear in court on September 19.

Both officers are suspended from duty.
