The search continued Friday for a missing 18-year-old University of Windsor student.

Police say the OPP dive team will be revisiting a few targeted areas of the Detroit River looking for Victoria Strehlau.

The divers were called in on Thursday to the water near Parent Avenue and Riverside Drive. The team used specialized sonar to determine specific spots of interest. Those areas are being investigated Friday.

Windsor police say if the dive is negative, the search will continue to be ongoing.

Strehlau was last seen at 7 p.m. on Monday near the 800 block of Argyle Street riding a 10-speed green bicycle.

Officers say they found bike matching that descrption in the area of Riverside Drive East and Hall Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Windsor police initiated a search of the river.

Strehlau is described as white, with long blonde hair and a thin build. She was last seen wearing a navy sweater and dark jeans.
