Michael C. Rohrer Heart and Soul Walk raises $22K for cardiac care

More than $22,000 was raised for cardiac care at the first Michael C. Rohrer Heart and Soul Walk.

Family friends and colleagues of the late Michael C. Rohrer gathered Tuesday to announce the total funds raised from the walk on May 20^th.

“My brother was larger than life. He was someone who always gave; to his community, his friends and especially his family. Organizing the Heart & Soul walk to not only remember Michael but also give back to the community he felt so passionately about felt so right for our family,” said Jennifer Rohrer, Michael’s sister.

The funds will be going to the Cardiac Wellness & Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.

Plans are underway to make the walk an annual spring time event.
