A neighbourhood meeting is scheduled for Wednesday night for residents near Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare who are growing frustrated with street parking.
Residents living on Connaught Avenue, Whitney Avenue and Myrtle Avenue are just some of the hundreds in the area feeling the parking pinch.
Bill Drouillard has been a resident on Connaught for years and says parking has always been issue on his street.
“We get a lot of employees over here parking, visitors parking,” Drouillard says. “Weekends are crazy busy with parking.”
To help find a solution Ward 2 councillor Ron Jones and Hotel Dieu president Bill Marra are hosting a neighbourhood meeting at the Tayfour Campus Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
