Windsor police seized about $874,000 worth of marijuana plants from three different locations.

The drugs and guns unit was acting on an investigation into a cannabis marijuana grow operation on Tuesday.

Police say the plants were discovered at homes in the 1200 block of Copperfield Place, 1300 block of Copperfield Place and 800 block of Lauzon Road.

Search warrants were executed at all the residences late in the afternoon and a man was arrested.

Officers recovered 874 cannabis Marihuana plants. Investigation also revealed a hydro by-pass was allegedly installed at two of the residences.

Trahn Tran, 46, from Windsor is charged with two counts of unlawfully produce cannabis marijuana, two counts of possession of marihuana for trafficking, and two counts of fraudulently divert or consume electricity.
