The Windsor police major crimes unit is investigating what officials are calling a homicide.

Police say they were called to 810 Ouellette Ave. about 7 a.m. Saturday and found a male without vital signs. Officers began life-saving measures, but the 35-year-old man was pronounced dead in hospital.

A female and two males were inside the residence at the time.

A 32-year-old man is charged with first-degree murder.

"We are not going to release a cause of death. There is an autopsy scheduled for tomorrow in London. Once that is concluded we can determine causation," said Staff Sgt. Todd Cox.

Police say they are not searching for any other suspects and that everyone involved is known to each other.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday.
