It was the last place he should have been sleeping, but Chatham-Kent police found a 34-year-old man sleeping in a washroom early Saturday morning at a Tim Hortons restaurant.

Earlier this month the man had been released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions was that he not attend any Tim Hortons within the City of Chatham.

Police were called to a Park Avenue East Tim Hortons about 5:15 a.m. and found the man sleeping in the bathroom.

They discovered this breached a condition of his release.

He is charged with three counts of breach of recognizance and is in custody pending a bail hearing.
