A man allegedly looking for a second score from the same address on the same night was caught by police while exiting the west Windsor home.

Officers were called to the 700 block of McEwan Avenue, Tuesday around 7:45 a.m. for a reported break and enter. The complainant told police he came home from work to find the rear door forced open. A wallet and treasure chest containing loose coins were missing.

Through their investigation, officers were able to view video of two males attending a Tim Horton’s around 5:30 a.m. asking to exchange $30 in coins.

Police returned to the residence to take a statement from the victim, around 9 a.m. While taking the statement, officers observed a male exiting the front door of the residence.

The man was arrested and searched. Police allege the suspect had gift cards in his possession that the victim indicated were his.

Justin Jenkins, 27, is charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

Police are looking for a second male who attended the Tim Horton’s with Jenkins earlier. He’s described as a 20 to 30-year-old white male standing 5’ 10”.  The suspect also had facial tattoos, including a tear drop on the right side of this face. He was last seen wearing a black toque with a blue nylon vest and black jeans.
