A complaint about loud music resulted in a machete allegedly being drawn at a Windsor apartment building.

Police were called to the 1100 block of Riverside Drive Sunday, around 11:27 a.m. for a report of trouble unknown.  Officers spoke with the 24-year-old victim who said he knocked on his neighbour’s door to speak to him about his loud music, when the suspect allegedly swung a machete at him.

The complainant, who was with a friend fled back to his apartment.

The suspect was arrested and the knife was seized.

An 18-year-old Windsor man is charged with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
