A$1 million prize lottery ticket sold in Windsor remains unclaimed.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission says the 649 Guaranteed $1-million prize from a January draw remains listed as unclaimed on the OLG’s website.
The owner has one year to claim the amount.
An OLG spokesperson says it doesn't happen often, but sometimes lotto prizes expire without anyone stepping forward.
Galit Solomon says a winning ticket for $1 million sold locally from a draw in May 2016, expired on May 25 this year after the owner never claimed the prize.
