Cold weather alert issued in Huron-Perth

Cold temperatures with added windchill values are expected across Huron and Perth.

Windchill temperatures of minus 12 C to minus 22 C are expected overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH) has issued a cold weather alert and is advising residents to dress appropriately for the weather, check on your neighbours, and travel safely.

Health risks are greatest for those experiencing homelessness, older adults, infants and children, people with pre-existing health conditions such as heart or lung disease, and outdoor workers.
