Windsor police say they are investigating sexually graphic videos that appear to have been filmed at two Windsor Public Library branches.

Police Sgt. Matthew D’Asti says the woman in the videos is not known to police by name – only by her pseudonym, Lilsecrett.

"The videos are of a woman exposing herself and masturbating inside what appears to be Windsor Public Library locations," Windsor police said in a statement.

Windsor police are also investigating the possibility a graphic video was also shot at a local Tim Hortons.

Dozens of videos posted online under the username Lilsecrett show a woman revealing herself and performing graphic solo sex acts at a public library, often with oblivious patrons visible behind her.

Chris Woodrow of the Windsor Public Library confirmed to that there have been cases of a woman exposing herself at the library. Woodrow says staff members noticed some "suspicious behaviour" from a female customer in January. He says staff looked into her Internet activity and asked her to leave when they saw what she was doing.

"She hasn't been back since," Woodrow told by phone.

Library CEO Kitty Pope says there were actually two incidents involving a woman behaving inappropriately. One occurred in December and the other in January.

Pope says patrons complained to library staff about a young woman's behaviour, prompting staff to confront her on at least one occasion. "Staff tried to get her to identify herself. She didn't, so she left," Pope told CTV News Channel on Tuesday.

Police were informed but nothing more came of the incidents until now, she said.

Woodrow says the library has "handed the whole thing over to the police," including information regarding the woman's identity.

Lilsecrett's last video was recorded in January.

“Anyone who goes into a public library and is taking picture of themselves and exposing themselves and showing pictures of themselves in a nude form to any patron of the library is certainly unacceptable, and we don’t condone that,” says Windsor mayor Drew Dilkens.

“And I know police have been contacted and we certainly don’t appreciate that nor do we tolerate that at any of our public facilities.”

Jo-Anne Gignac, library board member and councillor of Ward 6, where incident is alleged to have taken place says it is in the hands of the library administration.

“We will get a full report at the next library meeting, but certainly administration is dealing with the issue,” says Gignac.

The videos were originally made as live webcam chats through My Free Cams, a site that allows people to chat with models as they undress and perform various acts.

“It was a surprise, naturally,” says Gignac. “It is unfortunate. I don’t know how to react, other than that.”

The videos show a young woman cautiously revealing her breasts, buttocks and genitals on camera. She is also seen typing on her computer as part of the webcam chat.

“You’re always astounded by these issues and yet we continually hear of these things happening,” says Gignac. “You have to be constantly vigilant. We do have policies and procedures at the library in terms of trying to do everything possible to make the environment enjoyable and safe.”

Lilsecrett's account is no longer active on the site. An Instagram account under that username has also been shut down.

A performer profile page on another website says she is 21.
