A Leamington couple is facing child pornography charges after a four month police investigation.

OPP executed a search warrant at a Leamington residence on May 21.

As a result of the investigation, police seized six computer devices and other items pertinent to the investigation.

Police say some of the items seized contained images of child sexual abuse.

Theresa Mary Lyn Hennin, 41, of Leamington is charged with four counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of making available child pornography and distributing child pornography.

Jeffery Wightman, 48, of Leamington, is charged with possession of child pornography.

The two accused were held in custody following their arrest and attended a bail hearing on May 22.

Hennin was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear on June 18 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Leamington.

Wightman was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear on May 28 at the Ontario Court of Justice.

The investigation is continuing.
