As Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was laid to rest on Tuesday, a Kingsville man found his own special way to pay tribute to the soldier's life.

Like so many other Canadians across the nation, Ryan Fox was shocked last week when Cirillo was shot and killed at the War Memorial in Ottawa. A skilled graphic designer, Fox wanted to pay tribute to Cirillo and at the same time help support his family.

“I decided to make these bumper stickers, so everyone can show how strong we are as Canadians,” he says. “It’s amazing that there is so many people coming together. It’s very sad that a young man, dedicated to our country lost his life.”

Fox plans to sell “Canada We Stand on Guard for Thee” bumper stickers for $5, with all proceeds going to Cirillo’s family. He says it’s a way for all of us to say thank you.

“Front bumper, mailbox… anywhere they can show they are proud they are Canadian and we stand on guard.”

For those interested in purchasing a bumper sticker in support of the Cirillo family, you can contact Fox at 519-733-3838 or by emailing foxxtailsigns@outlook.com.
