Kingsville councillor Ron Colasanti passed away Thursday morning.
The 79-year-old councillor, who had been battling cancer, died at a hospice facility in Florida. He served the past four years as councillor, but did not seek re-election in October.
“It is a sad day for Kingsville,” says Kingsville Mayor Nelson Santos. “He was one of those fighters for the community. He was very responsive to local residents.”
The flag at Kingsville town hall has been lowered to half-staff to honour his service.
