The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in, to investigate a fatal blaze in Lakeshore.
Lakeshore firefighters were called to the 1500 block of Essex County Road 22 just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. OPP have confirmed one person to be dead.
The name of the deceased is not being released – pending notification of next of kin.
Essex Country Road 22 between Willow Wood Drive and Rourke Line has reopened, after emergency crews had it closed.
