A walking tour of Windsor’s Indian Road took place Friday afternoon.

The tour started at the University of Windsor’s Lebel building, located on College Avenue, at 1 p.m. and travelled north through the neighbourhood of Indian Road, where several derelict homes line the street.

The homes have been in a state of limbo, caught in the middle of a conflict between the City of Windsor and the Ambassador Bridge Company, who purchased the properties to build a second span.

A lecture with Joshua Akers, associate professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, was scheduled following the tour at Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation.
