After quite the eventful show in Windsor, George Lopez says he’s giving up drinking.
Lopez told Ellen DeGeneres on her Thursday show that he hasn’t had a drop of alcohol since his drunken stupor at Caesars Windsor back on Feb. 28.
“Since then I have not had a drop of alcohol,” he said.
Lopez was arrested for public intoxication. No charges were laid. The 52-year-old joked about the experience saying, “You know, I was on my way to my room – I just missed it by 35 floors.”
“Very polite. They told me, they said, ‘Sir, this behavior cannot continue and if it does continue we would be honored if you would be mayor of Toronto.’ “
