Humane society rescues peacock found in Lakeshore

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society rescues thousands of animals each year — and on Friday, and unusual stray made its way to the shelter.
A peacock was found hanging around a mobile home park in Lakeshore for a few weeks, and residents started getting worried about him.
The humane society was able to catch him Friday and bring him to safety.
The handsome bird will be hanging out at WINGS rehab until he finds a home.
