Some high school students at Holy Names Secondary School spent the better part of the day touching a van with their hand.

The fundraising competition was meant to see who could keep their hand on a vehicle the longest without moving.

More than 70 entrants paid $5 and lined up around the vehicle starting around 8:30 a.m.

Grade 12 student Khuloud Ahmad was last and she gets $100 voucher from Devonshire Mall as a prize.

More than $300 was raised for mothers against drunk driving.
