Two planes from World War II made a stop in Windsor on Monday.

The Canadian Historical Aircraft Association hosted the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s B25 Mitchell Bomber and VRA FM213 Lancaster Bomber at Windsor International Airport.

The public had an opportunity to view both these aircraft on static display only from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the $5 gate admission will be going to support the 364 Lancaster Air Cadets.

The public was also invited to purchase a flight in either aircraft. Flight in Mitchell Bomber was $500 and flight in Lancaster was $3,000.
