Gently-used outfits need for Costumes for Kids campaign

Have an old Halloween costume sitting around? If so, the Greater Essex County District School Board will take it off your hands.

Beginning on Thursday, Windsor-Essex residents looking to offload gently-used outfits can donate them to the Costumes for Kids campaign.

Residents can drop the costumes off at Tecumseh Vista Academy, David Maxwell, Parkview public school, Giles Campus French Immersion public school, Sandwich Secondary or the board office. Donations will be accepted until Oct. 17.

Families will then be invited on Oct. 25 to attend the Sandwich Teen Action Group to choose a costume, and enjoy a Halloween inspired afternoon.
