A gas leak has prompted an evacuation of residents in the 1500 block of Ouellette Avenue.
Windsor fire officials say it was caused by a gas line strike.
About 12 residents of a retirement home near the leak boarded a bus heading to temporary accommodations, but they have since returned home.
Union Gas officials turned off the gas. Fire and police also assisted on scene.
