It was a busy St. Patrick’s Day weekend for Essex OPP after arresting four impaired drivers.

The first arrest happened Friday on Essex County Road 20, where officers were conducting a RIDE program. Police say the driver of a Dodge pickup exhibited signs of impairment and after failing a road side test was arrested.

David Greenaway, 38, of Tilbury is charged with driving while ability impaired and exceed 80 mg of blood alcohol content.

On Saturday, officer in Leamington received a report of a Chevrolet pickup truck that had allegedly struck three vehicles. Jamie Wenzler, 26, is charged with driving while ability impaired and refuse to provide sample.

In Tecumseh, a vehicle was stopped on Manning Road that was travelling “erratically”. Kristopher Ennis, 46, of Kingsville was arrested and charged with driving while impaired and exceed 80 mg of blood alcohol content.

Lastly, officer stopped a vehicle on Essex County Road 13 in the Town of Essex, where police say the driver exhibited signs of impairment.

Lonie Kadyschuk, 46, is charged with driving while ability impaired and exceed 80 mg of blood alcohol content.

Police are asking anyone who sees an impaired driving to contact the authorities.
