A Hamilton company came in with the lowest bid to demolish the former Grace hospital site in Windsor’s west end.
City workers need to check over the math, but they say Budget Environmental Disposal Inc. came in at $4.1 million.
"We want them to get on site and start working as soon as possible,“ says City of Windsor engineer Mario Sonego. “They all know that, and we should be moving as quickly as we can."
A total of six companies expressed an interest.
The bid still has to go to city council for final approval.
