Windsor fire officials say a blaze caused $400,000 in damages to a home in south Windsor.

The fire started at 4692 Shadetree Cres. on the exterior back porch area near a hot tub, according to officials.

Residents were not believed to be home at the time.

A fire investigator attended the scene. No word yet on cause.
