Windsor police are looking for an alleged thief after $1500 of electronics was stolen from a Factory Direct store on Huron Church.

Officers were dispatched to the store in the 1500 block of Huron Church on Sunday.

Police spoke with an employee who indicated that he saw a man in the store acting suspiciously.  The man had a backpack, where he pulled out two camouflaged grocery bags.

He filled the bags and backpack with items from the store, say police.

He apparently left the store and made no attempt to pay for the items.  He was approached by a staff member at the front exit of the store.

Police say he surrendered one bag to the employee, but fled with the backpack and other bag.

The suspect is described as a white man, 30-40 years old. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a white hat.  He had a black arm brace on his left arm.

Police say he made off with several blue ray DVD players, Bluetooth wireless headphones, a hair flat iron, and hair curler (Remington hair products).

The total merchandise taken is estimated to be worth over $1500.

Police are hoping the suspect might be identified by the surveillance video.
