There’s another name in the hat for the riding of Windsor-Tecumseh.

Enwin vice president Michael Duben will be seeking the Liberal nomination for the riding.

Duben says filling empty store fronts and supporting small business will be his focus if elected.

Duben made the announcement Tuesday morning at the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator. He was accompanied by his wife, Shelly, and several local business owners, professionals, colleagues and friends.

Dwight Duncan previously held the riding, but he resigned in February. A by-election date has not yet been determined.

Another person seeking the Liberal nomination is expected to come forward later this week. Remy Boulbol has a news conference planned to kick off her campaign on Friday afternoon.

The PC candidate for Windsor-Tecumseh is Robert de Verteuil, who ran against Duncan in the last election.

Percy Hatfield has already announced he will be seeking the NDP nomination in the riding.
