An arrest has been made after a man allegedly pointed a gun at a driver while traveling on the E.C. Row Expressway Tuesday.

According to police, a complainant informed officers that he was involved in a “road rage” incident where gun was pulled on him.

The incident transpired on the expressway near Central Avenue when the driver of a red Dodge Grand Caravan was allegedly was right up on the bumper of the truck.

The complainant made a hand gesture at the driver of the Caravan, who then proceeded to pass the truck. Police say when the driver looked over, he saw the accused pointing a handgun at him.

The accused then sped off and exited the expressway.

The complainant provided police with a description of the driver and the licence plate number.

Officers were able to locate the suspect at a store in the 3100 block of Dougall Avenue, where he was placed under arrest.

Nathan Bastien, 25, is charged with point a firearm and weapon dangerous.

Police say a search of the vehicle located a Colt Defender B.B. pistol.
