Dozens stripped down to the bare minimum in Windsor on Sunday.

The brave, or perhaps a little crazy, participated in Windsor Downtown Mission Polar Bear Dip at Sandpoint Beach.

"You can't explain it, it's just a complete shock to your system," says participant Melissa Lenarduzzi.

"It's freezing," she shrieked.

Roughly 60 people took the plunge.

"Jumping in just numb. On the way back just absolutely freezing and I can't feel my legs right now," says Logan Lenarduzzi.

"Going through the slush into the hole was the worst for me, getting out everything is numb any ways so it doesn't matter," laughs Lenarduzzi.

Organizers say almost $10,000 was raised this year.
