It’s back to the bargaining table for CUPE and the Essex County Library Board.
Mediation resumed Tuesday on Day 81 of the strike for 58 library workers.
Sick time has remained the key stumbling block in the negotiations.
The union had filed a complaint of "bargaining in bad faith" against the library board, which was supposed to be argued later this week in Toronto.
But Local 2974 president Ian Nash says in talks with the Ministry of Labour, the union has agreed to withdraw the complaint on the agreement the board would show some "movement" on the sick time issue.
Two days have been set aside for mediation talks.
The County of Essex would only confirm the talks have resumed, but offered no other comment.
