A committee of independent experts has completed their supplemental report on girders used in the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway.
Ontario Minister of Infrastructure and Transportation, Glen Murray, released a statement Thursday, saying the supplemental report is now in the hands of his chief engineer for review.
"In July, I asked to review certain concrete girders on the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway and provide recommendations on their safety and durability,” says Murray. “In August, the review was expanded to examine additional girders of the Parkway that require further evaluation.”
Following review, the engineer will report back to Murray. It’s unclear when the supplemental report will be made public.
