Chatham-Kent police identify 17-year-old girl found dead in Thames River

Chatham-Kent police are releasing more details after the body of a 17-year-old girl was found in the Thames River over the weekend.
Jazmin Dawson, 17, of Chatham, was found in the river near the 5th Street Bridge in the downtown Chatham area, police say. Officers were called to the area around 9 a.m. on Saturday.
A post-mortem has been completed and investigators say they are treating this death as non-suspicious.
