Chatham-Kent OPP say a driver suffered minor injuries after pulling out in front of a tractor trailer on Highway 401 Monday morning.
The incident took place at 6:25 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 401 near Chatham.
Police say a car that was on the shoulder, pulled onto the highway directly in the path of a tractor trailer that was in the passing lane.
Both vehicles collided and the driver of the car was taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
Officers say charges are pending further investigation.
