Someone may have taken the “drive thru” sign above the entrance to a local Starbucks a little too literally.
Police say one person was taken to hospital after a car slammed into the window of Starbucks on Dougall Avenue Wednesday evening.
The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. at the coffee shop.
Damage was extensive to the store with glass all across the parking lot.
The female driver was taken to hospital as a precaution. There are no reports of anyone inside the store being injured.
