One man is facing 23 charges; another is being sought by Windsor police following a brash of vehicle break-ins.

According to police, officers attended an apartment building in the 1700 block of University Avenue West Sunday, for reports of break and enters and thefts from vehicles.

The investigation revealed two suspects broke into the apartment building and made their way to the parking garage. Once inside, the suspects allegedly broke into nine vehicles by smashing the windows.

On Monday police were tipped off about a suspicious male who was allegedly rummaging through vehicles. Officers located the suspect crouching between parked cars. Police say his backpack contained several items of stolen property.

George Liscombe, 45, is charged with 23 theft related charges.

Police are now looking for a second man. He’s described as having a medium build, and was last seen wearing a brown leather coat, black knit hat, black scarf covering his face, gloves and dark jeans.
