A local retailer has teamed up with the University of Windsor to offer exclusive apparel showing Lancer and city pride.
BB branded is extending its highly popular "rep your city" collection to the university.
Owner Ayad Saddy has been cooking up a deal with the U of W bookstore, pitching Rep Your City to Rep Your Team.
“Civic pride, plus team spirit all in one shirt," says Saddy.
The rep your team collection prominently features a Lancers logo and Lancers colours, atop the iconic "Win City" brand.
"Our main vision is we can go to a Lancers game and see the crowd all in Win City and school colours, cheering and roaring," says Saddy.
Shirts, pullover sweaters, beanie toques and fitted and snap-back hats are all for sale at the bookstore as well as at BB Branded's downtown and Devonshire Mall locations.
Saddy says he envisions the Win City branding could extend to many of the area high schools.
Proceeds from sales of the Lancer Win City apparel will support Lancer athletics.
