The City of Windsor just broke a 74-year-old weather record for high temperatures.

The previous record for Dec. 23, set in 1941, was 12.2 C.

By early Wednesday afternoon, the Windsor area had already hit 13 C, with the forecast calling for a high of 15 C.

As one might expect, Environment Canada is predicting a green Christmas, which marks the fourth time in five years for the region.
