An arrest has been made in the shooting of two homes on Windsor’s east end.
According to police, a 2004 silver Mazda, believed to be involved in the shooting in the 200 block of Belleview Avenue on Saturday was located Monday night in the 1200 block of Argyle Road.
Officers report damage consistent with bullet holes was found on the vehicle.
An 18-year-old man, who was found sitting in the car, was taken into custody. The vehicle was seized and police are now applying for a search warrant.
Police say the 18-year-old is expected to be charged with forcible confinement after allegedly attempting to get a confession from a 16-year-old male about the shooting. Both were in the car earlier Monday.
Officers say the 18-year-old was also trying to arrange payment in relation to damages sustained to the vehicle.
Police are expecting to speak with more witnesses Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing.
