Windsor police say a man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing incident early Saturday.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Campbell Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday for reports of a stabbing, and found a 41-year-old man suffering from two stab wounds to his lower back.
Two men were found in the area and police say one had blood on his clothing. The 51-year-old Windsor man has since been charged with attempted murder in the case.
An investigation found three men were inside a residence when two men were involved in a verbal confrontation that turned physical, leading to the stabbing.
After obtaining a search warrant for the home where the confrontation took place, police seized a number of items including a pair of scissors that were stained with what appears to be blood.
The victim received serious injuries including a lacerated liver and a bi-lateral pneumothorax, but the injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
