Andrew Brannan earned his bachelor of science in nursing at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 2003. He has practiced as frontline nurse in a range of clinical areas—from long-term care to critical care—and acted as a part-time clinical instructor for McMaster University's undergraduate nursing program.
His activism includes writing numerous letters to the editor on environmentalism and socialized medicine that have been published in local and national newspapers.
