Melanie Borrelli
Melanie Borrelli joined the CTV Windsor team as web writer in 2012.
She leads the digital charge online and on social media, covering a wide range of news stories.
On the TV side, Melanie hosts the Happening Now segment every weeknight in the 6p.m. newscast. The segment highlights top stories in the show and on the web, and features daily trending videos.
Every Thursday, Melanie is joined by Virgin Radio host Hannah Witherbee for The Wither Report – a weekly segment showcasing the top three entertainment stories.
Melanie is also the host of the Crime Stoppers Report with Windsor Police and Essex County OPP.
Other favourite segments she has hosted in the past include Stars Tonight and Pet Picks.
Melanie graduated with honours from the journalism program at Red River College in Winnipeg. She also has a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Manitoba.
When she’s not working, Melanie enjoys various sports, attending concerts, travelling and spending time with her family.
