A Windsor grandmother is a million dollars richer.
Louise Lavigne won a $1-million Maxmillions prize in the March 7 Lotto Max draw. She purchased the ticket at the Loblaws on Dougall Avenue.
“When my son realized I had a winning ticket, he started screaming in shock, saying, ‘this is impossible,’” Lavigne told OLG. “We were so excited – just making fools of ourselves! It was a very funny moment.”
Lavigne plans on using the money to purchase a new car and house.
Her previous highest winnings were $50 with Instant Crossword.
A Chatham resident is also a big winner.
Robert Bromley won $50,000 in the Instant Quest for Gold Crossword.
