It’s going to be a long week for Windsor road crews as the city ramps up another pothole blitz.

In an attempt to fill as many potholes as possible, road maintenance manager Peter Matheson says three shifts will be working on rotation for 24 hours a day until Friday.

The around the clock blitz comes after a harsh freeze-thaw cycle hit Windsor throughout the winter.

Motorist can expect delays in some areas.

The city sets aside $600,000 each year for pothole repair, but Matheson believes more money will be needed.
