A young Windsor man drowned while swimming in a Lake northwest of Brockville in the Ottawa area Tuesday.
Provincial police are investigating the incident but say foul play is not suspected in the 19-year-old’s death.
There's a gofundme.com page for a 19-year-old Nolan Ryan Smith-Frank to help pay for funeral costs. The page has raised aver $25,000 in 20 hours.
The post says the accidental drowning of Smith-Frank happened while vacationing with family in Ottawa.
Leeds County OPP confirmed it is the same man.
Police were called after a swimmer went under the water Tuesday afternoon and did not resurface.
The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
