An information meeting will take place Monday afternoon for faculty at the University of Windsor, as yet another deadline approaches.

Faculty will meet at the Fogolar Furlan Club at 4:30 p.m., to address five actions administration will take against its staff if a deal isn’t reached by 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

The university says it will stop contributions to pensions and health care premiums. They will also stop collecting Windsor University Faculty Association dues from member pay cheques.

In addition, the university says the grievance and arbitration process will no longer be in effect and they won't honour any claims for professional development.

In an email obtained by CTV Windsor over the weekend, the union says they will pay for hospitalization and green shield premiums for all members of the bargaining unit if necessary.

It’s believed WUFA will not seek a strike mandate at this time.
