The latest survey by Angus Reid finds Premier Kathleen Wynne is the least popular premier in Canada.

It says her approval rating has fallen four percentage points since the spring to just 20 per cent among Ontarians surveyed earlier this month -- part of a steady decline from 41 per cent in June of 2014.

The pollster says Wynne's biggest problem is rising hydro rates -- despite her government's recent move to ease some of the backlash by promising to scrap the provincial sales tax on electricity bills starting next year.

Angus Reid says the measure is being met with skepticism in many corners, while others complain the one-billion dollar cost is too high when the province's net debt stands at more than 20-thousand dollars per person.
